Pensaris is a small village nestled on the bank of Lake Pensaris and one of the most prosperous settlements in Meratt county of Taldor, behind only the larger trade town of Lotheedar in terms of wealth. This prosperity is due to the wise stewardship of House Okerra under the leadership of Baron Nicolaus Okerra, who rules from the neighbouring Okerra Estate. Baron Okerra assists this prosperity by sometimes giving no-interest loans to the most enterprising people of Pensaris, but recently this practice has ceased due to the increased taxes levied by Count Lotheed, much to the annoyance of Baron Okerra.1
