A Shadow wizard is a specialist in the Shadow subschool of illusion magic, called shadow magic.[1]
While not necessarily evil, a group of shadow wizards became notorious in Galt and Taldor some decades ago for nefarious activity; they were successfully defeated by Elyana Sadrastis and colleagues. Their number consisted of Athalos and Lathroft.[2]
