Solskinn is a small town in the Linnorm Kingdom of Southmoor, located to the south of Grungir Forest and to the north-east of Southmoor's capital of Jol.
As of 4711 AR it was officially ruled by Southmoor's Linnorm King Opir Eightfingers, but local leaders would take control whenever they felt that they could. Pleasant during the day, the small town was under forced curfew at night, as anyone leaving their homes is abducted by the visiting shadows.1
Eightfingers went missing after attempting an ill-fated series of raids against New Thassilon in 4719 AR, vacating his throne. His successor was Ostog the Unslain.2 The town's relationship with Ostog is unknown.3
