Ayngavhauls, or "heresy devils", are scholars of corruption and despair who seek to lead virtuous intellectuals astray with cleverly worded syllogisms and beautiful, yet hollow, rhetoric.1

Equipment

Throne of skulls

Crafted in Phlegethon, these infernal devices are bound to an individual ayngavhaul and commanded telepathically. Thrones of skulls allow these otherwise very slow devils to move around quickly, as well as providing additional protection through their profane magic.1

Robes of lead

Veteran ayngavhauls wear robes crafted from lead and inscribed with diabolical runes and profane sigils. Robes of lead are extremely heavy armor designed to protect against divine spellcasters.2
