Miastrileks, also known as spider demons, are demons who manifest of the corruption of a mortal bodies, such as through the distribution of drugs or application of poisons and pollution on others.

Appearance

A miastrilek's natural form resembles a giant spider with bat-like wings. However, when facing mortals, they prefer to take the forms of powerful or wealthy humanoids to pose as leaders or influencers.

Because bodily corruption is in a miastrilek's nature, cleansing a nearby creature of poison or disease can harm its mind.

Abilities

In their spider-like form, miastrileks can fly, deliver a venomous bite to foes that causes them to tremble, and spew a polluting stream of acid and debris.

Miastrileks can also teleport, hypnotize others, communicate telepathically, and speak Chthonian, Common tongues, and a regional mortal language.
