Abilities

A seraptis demon's arm mouths feed on others' suffering from the moment the demon is created. The mouths also siphon in the blood of nearby bleeding creatures via the air, which heals the demon's own wounds but it is mentally harmed when the bleeding creature's wounds are staunched.3

Seraptis demons can fly. They can communicate telepathically and may use use this ability to curse a person by explaining to them a plausible secret. This act effectively isolates the victim and causes them to distrust everyone, warping any words they hear, and forcing them to ignore anything spoken that is not uttered by an unholy creature.6

Habitat and ecology

Serapti come from souls that spent their lives driving others into despair and suicide. Serapti are radical nihilists, hating others because of their sense of bitter entitlement, and laughing as others die or suffer. Seraptis demons desire to turn mortals into hate-filled creatures just like themselves, tricking victims into profound resentment, bombarding mortal targets with endless falsehoods until they explode and commit unforgivable deeds against the innocent. Serapti enjoy causing this anguish, but their true joy is when their tortured victim's soul becomes another seraptis demon after judgement.6
