Scrapwall is a town1 in the Sellen Hills built out of a gigantic technological junkyard almost 3 miles in length. Having never had a formal leader in its thousands of years of history, the city is instead run by disparate rival gangs.23

Geography

Scrapwall lies on the east bank of the Sellen River, directly across from Aldronard's Grave,4 and around 50 miles west of Chitterhome.5

History

Scrapwall's genesis occurred in the Rain of Stars of -4363 AR, when the Chrysalis, a cargo bay and recycling module of the starship Divinity, crashed after a failed emergency landing east of the Sellen River, spreading debris across multiple miles. It would eventually become a haven for the likes of criminals, exiles, and wanderers, which would remain the status quo through the millennia.3

Once one of Numeria's largest troves outside of Silver Mount,2 Scrapwall was drained of skymetal and technological artifacts by 4498 AR.6 Despite this, it was briefly an area of interest for the newly-formed Technic League in that organisation's early years,3 and rumours about the presence of these alien treasures still circulated as recently as 4711 AR.7

The artificial intelligence Hellion, who had first arrived in Scrapwall in 4275 AR8 and laired underneath ever since, experimented with the power of mortal faith over the course of centuries.39 Eventually, it attracted its first cult, a group of chokers who would become known as the Thralls of Hellion.10

By 4714 AR, Scrapwall's biggest gangs were the Steel Hawks, Redtooth's Raiders, the Smilers, and the newly ascendant Lords of Rust.11

Places of interest

The Clockwork Chapel is a temple of Brigh run by Dinvaya Lanalei situated at the end of a narrow valley in Scrapwall's western wall, between the territories of Redtooth's Raiders and the Smilers.121
