Brigadier Holladyne Vronds serves as the commander of Castle Mashir which guards the western entrance to the walled inner city of Caliphas. While he is nominally the commander of the entire castle, in reality, Warden Browden Celdmoor who oversees the prison within the Gateless Tower, and Harbormaster Jasaline Morstenni operate effectively completely independently of his command.1
