The Moles are a group of wererats who roam the New Dock area of the slaver city of Okeno, serving as tax collectors for the harbormaster, Captain Permelia "Peg-Leg" Cockle. The Moles serve under Permelia's lieutenant Akall ni Hatrass, another wererat. Between Akall and The Moles' members, they search nearly every ship that docks in Okeno. The Moles specialize in sniffing out the hidden holds and smuggler's compartments that riddle most of the shady vessels that make port in Okeno's sinister docks.
