Owayu, along with her brother Niharo, is one of two priests that serve at the Shrine of Thaffaar in the slaver city of Okeno. Owayu and Niharo are both Tian and are known to be rather feisty and argumentative. The Shrine of Thaffaar is Okeno's most popular temple. It is devoted to Gozreh, as is Owayu, and she is popular with her congregation due to her willingness to bless any vessel that docks at the sinister port.
