Slaver's Vault

Slaver's Vault is the second-largest temple devoted to Abadar in all of the trade-loving nation of Katapesh, and it is the largest temple in Okeno. Slaver's Vault consists of a large but comparatively squat marble building with a single huge tower rising from its heart. The interior is centred around a cavernous area in which hangs a magnificent, colossal golden candelabrum valued at 40,000 gold pieces. Unbeknownst to everyone, this candelabrum is actually an incredible forgery. The original candelabrum was stolen over 300 years ago by the master thief Pherkad.

The current high priest of Slaver's Vault is Justice Hanbal, who sits as the appointed representative of Abadar on most criminal matters. Strict and serious, despite his position in the villainous den of criminality that is Okeno, Justice Hanbal takes his position extremely earnestly and is immune to bribery.
