Ictarias serves as the master of ceremonies for the Black Circus, Okeno's bloodiest entertainment venue. The Black Circus' main fare is violent spectacles pitting warriors, slaves, and animals against each other in fights to the death. As such, Ictarias often roams the various Fleshfairs of Okeno looking for fresh slaves to fight and die in the Black Circus.1
