Hekastor was a city and golemworks of the Jistka Imperium known to be active ca. -3600 AR. It was destroyed and buried by earthquakes of divine nature millennia ago. Golems1 still roam the site, and its former residents slowly evolved into morlocks who remain active in the area.23 These Jistkan morlocks obsessively work to power 17 glowing magical pylons out of fear of releasing a destructive threat. The morlocks have been unable to power the pylons by any means other than the sacrifice of arcane magic spellcasters beneath the pillars.3

  1. As of the Pathfinder Second Edition Remaster Project and Monster Core, golems are no longer a family of constructs with shared or similar traits. Several individual types of golems were renamed to have generic, standalone names. A canon replacement for this construct or its golem-specific properties might not exist.
