History

Samsaran legends tell of an group of scholars who long ago traveled into the mountains of what is now Zi Ha in a desperate search for the cure to a disease afflicting their home. They eventually discovered a spring of fresh water infused with pure vital essence, collected water from it, and brought it back to their village.

The water cured their afflictions, and the villagers committed themselves to learning about and experiencing the world as much as they could. As each villager eventually died, they became the first samsarans, as the essence had combined with their commitment to living their lives to the fullest.3

Religion

Tsukiyo is often considered the patron deity of samsarans, sharing their experiences of a new life. Throughout their reincarnations, samsarans will follow many different gods.5
