The Open Road Lodge is a recently opened Pathfinder lodge whose entrance is located in the northern Mwangi Expanse. The lodge behind that entrance is a demiplane infused with powerful fey energy.1

Geography

The lodge's entrance in the Universe, called the Door of the Seasons, is located 50 miles north-northeast of Nagisa in the northern Mwangi Expanse and is accessible only via footpaths.1

The plane resembles a sprawling complex of fertile greenery, with a three-story stone tower at its center and supporting stone structures spread out around it. Food is provided by garden beds and a pond containing fresh fish. A constant gentle breeze circulates the scents of flowers and soil throughout the demiplane, which has no visible sun but is illuminated by ambient light as if a sun was perpetually over the horizon.1

After the lodge's founding, the Society's Decemvirate authorized its connection as a terminus lodge of the Maze of the Open Road.2

History

Heraldry of the Open Road Lodge.

The Pathfinder Society formed the lodge in 4720 AR following the rediscovery of the Open Road Pact in 4719 AR and the later discovery and defeat of Qxal, a powerful fey also known as the Thorned Monarch.13

Inhabitants

The lodge's venture-captain is Sigvard Tornkvist. It is also the permanent home of Gregaro Voth, a founding member of the Society, who is bound by the Pact to remain in the lodge's demiplane and serves the Society by shaping every aspect of it into a habitable space.1
