The drow settlement of Blackstrand can be found in the Darklands realm of Sekamina, far below the Aspodell Mountains of northwestern Andoran. It is the closest satellite colony to the great drow capital of Zirnakaynin, and is strictly controlled by the Shax-worshipers of House Vexidyre. It also serves as a trading colony to the city of Sverspume.

Agents of House Vexidyre recently discovered a long-forgotten elf gate near the outpost and have so far limited access to it to their own mages, to the great vexation of all the other drow noble houses. They use the gate to further their own nefarious trade network. Blackstrand maintains an outpost in the Candlestone Caverns, called the Black Siren Citadel.
