Embassy Building
The Embassy Building in Magnimar is set aside for officially invited ambassadors from other countries. Many nations rejected the offer, but those who accepted exchanged functionaries and also receive lowered tariffs and increased trade. As of 4712 AR, the nations with representatives in Magnimar were Absalom, Andoran, Cheliax, Katapesh, Osirion, Qadira, Sargava (now known as Vidrian), Taldor, and Ustalav. Korvosa maintains offices here, but they are rarely used and remain empty most of the time. This two-story building is located in the city's Ordellia district.1
Andoren embassy
In 4712 AR, the Andoren embassy in the Embassy Building had been established only recently. In that year, Major Colson Maldris encouraged Pathfinders associated with the Andoren faction to gain support for it from sympathetic workers at the famous Golemworks.2 Maldris saw limitations with the embassy facilities and, later that year, sought to buy the empty Foxglove Townhouse in the Naos district as an embassy residence.3
Chelaxian embassy
In 4712 AR, the undersecretary's wife was embarrassingly caught with a famous actor, while they thought they were safely hidden on the stage, when the curtain awkwardly rose. Paracountess Zarta Dralneen denied any involvement in this affair.3
