Vaelyn and Kellan.

Vaelyn and Kellan, also called Vaelyn and Kel, are a pair of small islands north of Bag Island and northwest of Dahak's Fang in the Shackles. The islands are named after a local tale of the lovers Vaelyn and Kellan Dennas. Dennas was the second mate of pirate captain Louxus Baern, who coveted Vaelyn. When she chose Dennas over Baern, the captain marooned the two separately on the islands, kept apart by only 150 feet of predator-infested waters. The tales say the lovers died of starvation within sight of each other, and that their sorrowful ghosts attack any ships that pass near.
