The Island of the Black Tower.
The Island of the Black Tower is located in the western end of the Shackles near the Cannibal Isles. It is said to be haunted by the ghost of the Shrouded Queen, which causes the nearby tribes of cannibals to avoid it.1 Indeed, most animals avoid it, leaving only invertebrates such as insects and spiders to inhabit it.2
Geography
The island has a circular coast with dense jungles and a maximum elevation of 120 feet at its center. The isle's namesake—a 400-foot-tall Black Tower, made of an unknown black stone and columnar in shape with a 30-foot diameter and plants growing along its outer walls—is located on the isle's highest point.2
