Broken Hook

Broken Hook is the southernmost tip of Taldas Isle in the Shackles, south of the town of Little Oppara. It derives its name from the way the craggy land breaks off into countless small rocks and islets and trails off into the sea. The children of Little Oppara play here, daring each other to see who can hop farthest away from land while jumping from boulder to boulder. They also claim that the Broken Hook is home to an oceanic giant, but as of 4712 AR this had been dismissed as a fairy tale until a spate of recent disappearances.
