Baris Trenchlow

Baris Trenchlow is the currently leader of the Korvosa's secret guild of smiths and ironworkers known as the Ironsoots. Baris was born and learned his smithing in Korvosa's rival city of Magnimar where he developed his sense of worker solidarity. Unfortunately guilds like the Ironsoots are not legal under the Korvosan city charter, Baris has been pushing for strikes and even rioting to finally get the charter changed.¹
