Arkona Palace

From PathfinderWiki
(Redirected from Palace Arkona)

Arkona Palace, or Palace Arkona, is a massive black manor atop the highest point of Endrin Isle1 that as of 4708 AR housed Old Korvosa's ruling family, House Arkona. Surrounded by an iron-wrought and black-marbled wall, the manor is adorned with strange ornamentation hailing from Vudra, such as doors bearing depictions of Chamidu and decor of elephants with three heads, peacocks holding sabers, and tigers with carved eyes that leer from the palace's walls and over the gardens of the mansion. Ruthless guards patrol the palace.12

Beneath Arkona Palace is a famous cyst drop, an occurrence when a sea cave collapses in on itself to form a sinkhole. The cyst drop is formed from the natural caves that compose the Vaults of Korvosa.3 The palace's underground levels also include the Vivified Labyrinth, a sprawling and complex obstacle course and dungeon.4
