Occult dragons prefer to infiltrate the cities of humanoids in whatever form will draw the least attention. There they search for esoteric knowledge and psychically charged items. They are unusually attentive, as if always on the lookout for something.

Their parchment-colored scales rustle like dry leaves in the wind.

Esoteric dragons are broadly detached from the affairs of lesser beings. The most common esoteric draconic bloodline is the occult dragon's, often as the result of the dragons' experimentation on humanoid subjects.
