As of 4724 AR, Teska Sarini had been the matriarch of the aristocratic House Sarini in Kintargo, Ravounel, for a few years. She succeeded her scandalous Thrune-loyalist mother Urora Sarini, who defected to Cheliax within a few years of Ravounel's successful secession from Cheliax in the Kintargan Rebellion of 4715–4716 AR.

Teska is the daughter of Urora Sarini, and rumors suggest a feud is growing between Teska's branch of the family in Ravounel and the Chelaxian Sarinis.
