Holding House
The Holding House, located in the Old Kintargo district of Kintargo, was the city's original jail. It fell out of use when Castle Kintargo and Kintargo Keep began to be used to hold the city's prisoners.
History
For years the bunker-like structure was all but abandoned, but with the arrival of Barzillai Thrune as Lord Mayor in 4715 AR, it saw renewed use as a temporary jail and processing centre for those caught in his crackdowns. It was run by an efficient inquisitor of the church of Asmodeus known as Sabo the Spider.1
After Thrune was removed from power and Kintargo and Ravounel won their independence from Cheliax in 4716 AR, the building was emptied and boarded up, and it remained so as of 4724 AR.2
