Vashnarstill Shipyard
The Vashnarstill Shipyard is a centuries-old fixture of the Yolubilis Harbor area of Kintargo. Named for House Vashnarstill, it has remained the most reliable dockyard for over 10 generations due to its management. Ownership is handed down on the basis of merit rather than blood ties; each owner has tried to select the best employee to succeed him, which has worked well so far.1
Its owner as of 4724 AR was Kohl Draksitus.2 In 4715 AR, Draksitus' most significant concerns were the stiff competition from new yards in the rival Chelaxian cites of Westcrown and Corentyn.1 However, her more recent struggles are the result of keeping up with the demands of Sendi Vashnarstill, whose ambitions to make Kintargo a hub of trade with the distant continent of Arcadia are taxing the shipyard's capacity.2
