As of 4715 AR, Hortense Lierre was an armiger of the Hellknight Order of the Torrent in Kintargo, then a city in the Archduchy of Ravounel in Cheliax. She was the most senior of the four armigers arrested and imprisoned by newly installed Lord-Mayor Barzillai Thrune after the Night of Ashes in 4715 AR.

Lierre and the other armigers—Benjen Preveau, Ilsani Aberveen, and Kasston Auruda—were held in the Holding House, and Lierre was tortured by the apocrisiarius velstrac Ghenemahl. Armiger Lierre's fate after the Kintargan Rebellion of 4715–4716 AR is unknown.

Lierre was a dark-skinned human woman with dark brown hair.

Relatives

Lierre joined the Order of the Torrent on the advice of Lictor Octavio Sabinus to Lierre's parents. As of 4175 AR, her parents had both since died.
