The Long Roads Coffeehouse is one of numerous small restaurants, eateries, and coffee houses scattered across the Villegre district of Kintargo in Cheliax. It is located north of Villegre Park.12

Its owner, Laria Longroad, has a dedicated if eclectic clientele: a mixture of wide-eyed students from the Alabaster Academy and other educational institutions alongside noble patrons from the neighbouring Greens district.3

The Long Roads Coffeehouse's success is partially due to the quality of its drinks and food, including traditional halfling cuisine, but under Chelaxian rule it also served as a front for Laria's connections with the then-illegal Bellflower Network and seemingly every other rogue and revolutionary in the city.3

She kept the Coffeehouse's role in these activities secret until they were exposed to the Scarlet Triad by Hundy Vosht in 4719 AR.4 The criminal organization briefly captured Longroad in a raid against her coffeehouse that killed several of its patrons,5 an act that quickly engaged her in efforts to rout the Triad from Kintargo.67 Its role in the Rebellion has since made it as much a tourist attraction as a cafe.2

Tunnels

Hidden beneath the coffee house is a subterranean hideout known as the Wasp's Nest that had long been used by smugglers and folk in need of privacy.89 The Wasp's Nest once served as a secret shrine devoted to Calistria that survived the initial banning of her religion when Kintargo was under the rule of House Thrune and boasts handy access to the sewers and storm drains.3
