Little is known about Roidira, apart from her title as the Dark Sister of Knowledge. Some scholars maintain she is a candidate for being the mysterious entity known as White Feather, though this is disputed by others who see White Feather as Irori or the Peacock Spirit.34

Appearance

Roidira appears in visions as a dark-skinned feminine humanoid, her eyes filled with piercingly bright starlight, with thick dark hair bearing two white streaks.5

Church

The cult of Roidira is active in Qadira, where its members often interact with cultists of the White Feather who view them as similar outsiders but share few of their precepts. Roidirans protest near Qadiran cities with signs bearing nihilistic slogans, such as "Give up now" and "Embrace the void", or depicting Sarenrae being hanged.1 When amongst their fellow cultists, Roidirans tend to wear black and contemplate silently.6

In 4717 AR, a sect of Roidirans near Qaharid pilgrimaged to the Place of Enlightenment in the southern Maharev Jungle; many returned disillusioned, and some did not return.7 A Pathfinder Society investigation of the shrine reported visions of Roidira issuing rheteorical challenges before revealing contradictory visions of the deity claiming to have never existed, depicting her suicide, admonishing her followers for misinterpreting or warping her edicts, and depicting several scenes of destruction and rebirth, unattainable knowledge, and endless voids.89
