Pantheon
A pantheon is a set of deities associated with a polytheistic religion, mythology, or tradition1 that share edicts and anathema and can grant unique divine abilities to those who advance their collective cause. Worshippers of a pantheon venerate a single deity within the group but respect the collective's rules.234
Pantheons are often associated with ancestries or cultures but can also be instituted by organizations, such as the Godclaw of the Order of the Godclaw,5 or associated with more abstract concepts, such as the deities associated with the Cosmic Caravan of constellations.63

- ↑ Previous canon works, such as Travel Guide 92, asserted that people could worship a pantheon as a collective entity. Divine Mysteries 237 defined covenants as a distinct mechanical grouping for such worship, and it also explicitly distingusihed pantheons as groupings in which worshipers venerate only a single patron deity but follow the pantheon's collective edicts and anathema. These definitions are irrelevant in Pathfinder First Edition, in which pantheons were generic grouping of related deities and mechanics were limited to traits or ad hoc mechanics.
