Oni daimyo
(Creature)
Above even the mighty void yai oni exist oni quasi deities1—entities of nearly incomprehensible power known by the title of kishin1 or oni daimyo.23 The great leaders among the oni are as numerous as the nations of the world, and all oni seek to climb the rungs of power to become such powerful entities.4[citation needed]
Known kishin oni
The following list includes kishin powerful enough to be known and feared outside their own domains. Most of these nefarious oni command armies or control points through which other oni can enter the world.4[citation needed]
- Akuma, the Horned King31 (ogre mage)
- Chimon, Hunter of Blood5 (ogre mage)
- Guyuku, the Sea Devil5 (water yai)
