Uzumae is a kuwa oni daimyo with frostbitten skin and icy teeth and nails dwelling in the cold northern Wall of Heaven. It is said that lost travellers are lured to their dooms by the sound of the winds in his realm. His followers demonstrate their obedience by imagining the sensations of starving of hunger while in snow, whether by doing so or through self-flagellation.
